   Two sedans traveled north near 191 4th Avenue in Brooklyn when the driver of a rear sedan hit the sedan ahead while going straight. A 26-year-old male driver in one of the cars was injured, suffering knee and lower leg pain and shock. A 44-year-old male passenger and other occupants were listed with unspecified injuries. According to the police report, officers recorded “Driver Inexperience,” “Following Too Closely,” and “Driver Inattention/Distraction” as contributing factors. Police recorded following too closely by both drivers, showing how little room they had when traffic shifted. The damage ran through the center front of the rear sedan and the back of the car ahead.

The driver’s right front bumper caught the rear of the bicycle and threw the rider off. The cyclist suffered neck injuries and whiplash and was listed as injured and in shock.
