Sixteen people have been killed in traffic crashes across Assembly District 65 since Jan 1, 2022, including ten people walking and two people on bikes (NYC Open Data: Crashes/Persons).

How were these numbers calculated?

We used NYC Open Data’s Motor Vehicle Collisions datasets — Crashes (h9gi-nx95), Persons (f55k-p6yu), and Vehicles (bm4k-52h4) — filtered to Assembly District 65 (by the NTAs MN0101, MN0201, MN0301, MN0302) and dates Jan 1, 2022–Sep 21, 2025. We grouped by victim type, location, hour, and vehicle class to produce the counts cited. Data were accessed Sep 21, 2025.
